These Terms govern your use of northlinegaragedoors.com and any request for service you submit through it. By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to them.
1. About NorthLine
NorthLine Garage Doors is a licensed and insured company that coordinates and schedules residential garage door services. Depending on availability and service area, work may be fulfilled by qualified independent service providers operating on behalf of or through NorthLine. This is explained in our Service Provider Disclosure, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Requesting service
Submitting a request does not create a binding agreement for work to be performed. It is a request that we will arrange to fulfil subject to availability. Where the work is carried out by an independent provider, the contract for that work is formed between you and the provider on the terms you approve.
You agree that the information you give us is accurate, that you are authorised to request work at the property, and that you are at least 18 years old.
3. Estimates, pricing and payment
Estimates, pricing, invoicing and payment terms are determined by the provider performing the work and confirmed to you before work begins. Any figures or ranges discussed by telephone are indicative only and are not binding.
4. Contact by phone, SMS and email
By submitting a request or calling us, you consent to being contacted about that request by telephone, SMS and email, including by automated means, at the number and address you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out and HELP for assistance. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of receiving service.
Calls to and from NorthLine may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and record-keeping. Where a call is recorded you will be notified at the start of the call.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false or fraudulent requests, interfere with the website’s operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or harvest data, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
The NorthLine name, logo, photography, text and design on this site are owned by or licensed to NorthLine Garage Doors and may not be reproduced without permission. Third-party manufacturer names shown on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to indicate the equipment our network services. Their use does not imply affiliation, endorsement or authorised dealer status.
7. Disclaimers
This website is provided on an “as is” basis. Content, including any diagnostic guidance, is general information only, is not a substitute for on-site inspection by a qualified professional, and should not be relied upon as such. Garage door springs and related components store significant energy and can cause serious injury; do not attempt repairs yourself.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NorthLine disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding this website and the services arranged through it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NorthLine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising out of your use of this website or any service arranged through it. Responsibility for services performed rests with the independent provider, as set out in the Service Provider Disclosure.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify NorthLine against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of this website.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. The state and federal courts located in New York shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your place of residence.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version published at the time of your request applies to that request. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
